Opis
Castle Square was established in the 18th century following the demolition of the Kraków Gate and the clearing of the area in front of the Royal Castle.
It is dominated by King Sigismund's Column from 1644 — Warsaw's oldest secular monument. The square is a popular starting point for exploring the Old Town.
