Opis
The Church of the Protection of St. Joseph (Wizytek) was built between 1728 and 1761 according to the designs of Karol Bay and Efraim Schroeger. It miraculously survived the destruction of 1944, thanks to which it preserves its original 18th-century interiors to this day.
The young Fryderyk Chopin used to play the organ here during his student years — a plaque by the entrance commemorates this fact.
