No. 33 stands on the western frontage of the Old Town Market Square, among houses traditionally occupied by wealthy Warsaw merchants and craftsmen.
Like the rest of the frontage, it was rebuilt after 1945 based on Canaletto's vedute and pre-war conservation surveys.
