No. 23 stands on the Barss frontage of the Old Town Market Square, a few doors from the famous Fukier Tenement (No. 27). Its history goes back to the 16th century; its present appearance results from post-war reconstruction.
The facade keeps the restrained, burgher style of the rest of the frontage.
