Rynek Starego Miasta 12 — Małodobrych Tenement House

The exact date of construction is uncertain. A building with at least one masonry wall was mentioned as early as 1444–1459, but the first indisputable record of a masonry tenement comes from 1580.

Before 1743 a third floor was added. In the mid-19th century the facade was altered — possibly to a design by Henryk Marconi, though the attribution is unconfirmed. In 1928 the facade was decorated with a polychrome designed by the then owner, Edward Okuń.

The name 'Małodobrych' comes from the family that owned the house in the 16th century; it is also called 'Czerska'.
